" Very efficient and helpful staff. Good price and a very huge variety of vehicles. The car was very clean and I loved the anti-backward system for standard transmission in the steep roads of Cernobbio! "
" The only drawback of my experience was the amount charged for the refill of the gas tank. I had to be at the airport at 3:30 AM and there was no gas stations opened near the airport. This forced me to give back the car 3/5 full. It would be convenient if there was a list of open 24H/7 gas station in the vicinities of the airport. "

" We were not supplied with any paperwork/receipt at drop-off and were told that our final invoice would be emailed to us. The charge was applied to our credit card that same day but we did not receive the invoice by email. When we logged in to our Europcar account a few days later, our reservation was not accessible. We had to followup with Europcar customer service to make an online request for the invoice. "

" Overall good experience. However very displeased with additional charge for a small (approx 1.5" scratch on left front wheel. Charged an extra $92.66 after we got home. Seems like a scam. Pointed out scratch to young man who gave me the car in Milan. Said it was no problem. Took him at his word. Car was not ready when we arrived ( we had to wait approx 30 min.) cleaning was not done very well. Obviously rushed. Francesca the counter girl did an excellent job,very professional. Drop off not a good experience. Very poor signage coming in. Young man checking in not pleasant. Discussed scratch on wheel. Explained experience in Milan, he said ok, asked me to sign very small blank screen on check in device to confirm full tank. Said goodbye. Asked about a cab to go downtown Florence, told to go stand by taxi sign. Waited awhile no cab. Went in to europcar counter to ask them to call cab told no just go stand by cab stand. Waited an additional 20 min, went back to counter,very rude manager told us just take shuttle back to airport get cab there. Shuttle was a no show for over 45 min. Stood outside in 39* heat. Finally got a cab on our own no thanks to Europcar Florence. Very poor customer service. Otherwise very good experience. "

I wrote EuropCar for this purpose. "

EXCEPT: - car showed full but only had about 500 kms of fuel, compared to about 600 on a really full tank; - Avis should indicate that there is nowhere to buy fuel at Milan Malpensa Airport so I returned the car with the indicator 2 notches down. I pointed this out to the attendant who said that there would be no charge. Please ensure that I am not charged for fuel. "

" The car and GPS we ordered were inavailable, so you provided a BIGGER car with a GPS built in, Your decision to upgrade us ! The GPS worked really well. BUT when we turned the car in we were chargd an additional Euro 185.95 for special equipment rental. It probably balances out but it would help to know before you are rushing to make your flight "

I would also suggest that you might record in Memory the airport locations and the fine pionts for car return, We were a liitle lost at the end but did find our way probably because Linate is so small "
