    Toronto Railway Station Car Rental

Union Station is a central train station and intermodal transportation hub in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located on Front Street West, on the block's south side, bounded by Bay Street and York Street in downtown Toronto. The Toronto municipal government owns the station building, while the provincial transit agency Metrolinx owns the shed and the train tracks. Union Station has been a Canadian National Historic Site since 1975 and a Heritage Train Station since 1989. It is operated by the Toronto Terminals Railway, a joint venture of the Canadian National Railway and Canadian Pacific Railway that directs and controls trains' movement along the Union Station Rail Corridor, Canada's largest and busiest rail corridor. Its central location in Canada's busiest intercity rail service area, "The Corridor," and GO Transit's commuter rail service hub make Union Station the busiest transportation facility in Canada and the second busiest railroad station in North America. It is serving more than 72 million passengers each year. More than half of all Canadian intercity passengers and 91% of Toronto commuter rail passengers travel through Union Station.

General Information: Union Station is the central railway station in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is the southernmost subway station in the city and one of the busiest stations on the city's public transportation system (officially named Union) and the Toronto subway network. It is the terminus of six surface lines (two of the tram, which is among the busiest in the city, and four of the bus). Although the station has a terminal that serves such surface lines, it is not integrated—passengers wishing to transfer between the surface lines and the metro need to make a transfer.
