" This was my second booking with auto europe and each time it was an easy experience. The options you require are easy to follow and in most cases you were given a few providers to choose from. Ib both cases we took 0 deductible and we are pleased we could do this. "

" Booking thru Auto Europe was easy. The car we received was reasonable but I thought we'd receive GPS included given that we booked a car for 22 days. The location for pick is a crowded small office location so it is not one of the best spots for pickup. However, the car worked well over the three weeks and drop off was quick. The staff at the end even called a taxi for us. "

" Very long wait at pick-up counter ( they were busy but still I think over 1/2 hour is a bit long. Got feeling the counter staff were trying to sell extras to all the customers. Got talked into an upgrade because larger wheels/tires would be better for Highland roads but the car we received actually had lower profile tires than what we booked and then 10 minutes out of town the tire pressure light came on and I needed to find a service station to check tire pressures. Key fob battery low warning light also illuminated on the dash but later went out ?? The cars do not have owners manuals in the glove box so lights and options are not clear until it is discovered that some of this info is available via the central display screen. "

" I select a compact car online and was expecting a Ford Focus or similar car. I chose this because I knew small cars were necessary in Scotland. I was given a Vauxhall Mokka which I had not heard of. We were in a bit of a hurry to get to our next destinations. They confirmed it was a compact. A Mokka is not a compact. It was more like a SUV. I did not want a big vehicle but got one. I am not happy about that. If a person asks for a compact or small car, give them one. I do not think that clerk realized how big a Mokka is. If I had more time, I would have gone back and demanded another vehicle. But, it was busy there and re-doing the paperwork and transaction would have taken a long time. "

" Love Auto Europe because they shop all car classes for us. All of the details and prices are spelled out so there is no confusion or 'surprises' later. Will continue to use them for our annual trips to Europe. "

" Only negative comment we have is the car we booked was not available. This would've been fine if another car in the same class was offered. We instead had to pay up to receive a higher class vehicle. Regardless, overall the experience with Hertz was very good. "

" Rates are very competitive. Location is good for me when in Edinburgh. The car I was given this year (Vauxhall Astra 1.6 litre with 5 speed manual transmission) was badly underpowered, making overtaking on narrow winding roads difficult and sometimes dangerous. "

" The pick-up process at Waverly station was not so simple. The taxi driver erroneously dropped us off at the car return location. So we had to take a shuttle to the sales office where there was a long queue to get to the clerk. Then we had to go back to the return location to pick-up the car. Finally, an hour and a half after we showed up we got the car. Luckily, the return process at Glasgow airport was fast and easy. "

" The day I picked up the car, their computer systems were down, their credit card machines didn't work, and they had to prepare my rental agreement by hand on paper. This may have been due to the overload on the UK's telecommunications systems due to the Brexit vote. It took a long time to finalize the rental agreement. Otherwise, everything was fine. I liked the car (VW Golf). Returning the car went very smoothly and quickly. I would not hesitate to rent from Keddy again. "

" The car assigned smelled of smoke, all three are non smokers and this car would have been not fun to be in for a week. Notwithstanding the large no smoking sign, previous renters smoked. So I complained and within a short time was provide a replacement that was fine. "

" I have used Auto Europe for years. I not only rent cars for myself, but for our children, for example when they join us in Italy. Service has always been great. It would, however, be very nice if I cold create an account like I do at sites like Expedia, etc. I could then sign in and not have to re-enter all the data about my self or others I'm renting for. What do you think? "
