From the Brisbane Airport, picking up your car rental to explore Queensland and all of its splendor should be a walk in the park. If you’re renting a vehicle through Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Enterprise or Thirfty, help desks are available in both the Domestic Terminal on Level 1 and the International Terminal on Level 2. For domestic travelers, these kiosks will be near the baggage claim at the Virgin and Qantas ends of the terminal. On the other hand, international travelers just need to look for the desks behind Spoon Cafe.
The facility has two terminals; one serves domestic passengers while the other handles all international travelers. Visitors with longer layovers may like to visit Skygate which is just a free ten minute bus ride from level four of the international terminal. Skygate is a shopping center which offers a number of restaurants, bars, salons, clothing retailers and even an experience center. The center offers a unique way to learn about the operations of the Brisbane Airport by incorporating various types of media, entry is free. If you would rather relax a bit, take advantage of the free hour of Wi-Fi. It can be accessed from the retail areas on levels 3 and 4 of the international hall and the retail area on level 2 of the domestic hall.
The Visitor Information Centre is staffed by knowledgeable employees who can help with all your questions about the airport facilities as well as provide general tourism material. The information center is located in both terminals and is identifiable by the blue and yellow Visitor Information Centre sign.
