" Auto Europe make it very easy to compare rates and get the best deal with the car company you prefer. They were also super helpful when I needed to make a change to my reservation and I even got a significant refund due to a price change when I did so. "

I'm very sorry I don't remember their names, but both were super helpful, spoke English so I didn't have to struggle with my limited French, and made my car hire a great experience. " I like the options presented with Auto Europe. Choice of prices and rental companies are good. I also like the clear explanation about insurance options, including what insurance comes with the rental and what your purchase options are for additional insurance should you want it. I have recommended A.E. to many people. "

" At pick up when we arrived the office was very busy. They could have used a few more staff on for a Saturday. The wait for the car was quite long... at least 90 minutes. I asked a staff person if they were always this busy or was this just unusual. She said it was the norm. The car itself was fine but the front tires were quite worn. Drop off was quick and efficient. "

The only "minor" issue I would like to mention is that the map for the GPS system was not up to date. (For example, the "major" changes made to the highway towards Montpellier France were not reflected on the map.) This somewhat surprised me. I had assumed that since the car was new, the map would have been up to date. "

" I originally opted for a car large enough to accommodate 5 people comfortably, a car comparable to a Citroen C5, which we had before. when we got there, the car offered seemed too small. She offered a larger car, but we had to pay an additional cost. The car did work out well and was comfortable, but the additional cost was not appreciated. Easy check in and check out and staff was pleasant. "
