Jorvik Viking Festival

This event, held annually in York, celebrates the area's Viking heritage. Hundreds of Vikings penetrate the city to exhibit specific training routines and battle drills. There is also a wide variety of events featured to accommodate all age groups, including lectures, arts & crafts and water events. This year will showcase a poetry competition as well by the youth of the United Kingdom.
