Witches' Night

One of the Czech Republic's most colorful traditions, residents take to lighting their old broomsticks on fire to keep the "witches" at bay. Groups of Czechs gather together around blazing bonfires and as the fires die, lovers dance and jump through the glowing embers.

Visit Prague during the 4th annual Beer Festival and you’ll find lots of celebration and overall good cheer! Represented here are over 50 different varieties, produced throughout the vast country, and many of which being premiered for the first time. On hand are hundreds of locals and volunteers, who are completely adorned in traditional Czech dress, and ready to serve the public until they’ve had their fill. With Free Admittance and seating for more then 10,000, this festival is definitely worth the trip!
